In this extra scienc-y episode of Podthing (recorded 8.3.12) Jeremy and I discuss the plausibility of designing a real life Jurassic park, and how to reverse engineer a dinosaur from a chicken. A discussion of NASA's newest Mars Rover curiosity; which will reach the Martian atmosphere early Monday morning, not Sunday, as we say in the show- leads to talk of alternative biology and life on other planets. We also manage to take a look at a few trailers, the sci-fi movie Prototype, which spurs a brief discussion about the technological singularity.
